Quotes of Wisdom
Free Enterprise - “Free enterprise has done more to reduce poverty than all the government programs dreamed up by the Democrats” – President Ronald Reagan
Limited and Fair Taxation – “A tax cut means higher family income and higher business profits and a balanced federal budget. Every taxpayer and his family will have more money left over after taxes for a new car, a new home, new conveniences, education and investment. Every businessman can keep a higher percentage of his profits in his cash register or put it to work expanding or improving his business, and as the national income grows, the federal government will ultimately end up with more revenues.” – President John F. Kennedy
Limited and Smart Regulation – “If you have ten thousand regulations you destroy all respect for the law.”- Prime Minister Winston Churchill
Individual Liberty – “We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force.”- Ayn Rand
Atlas PAC’s Cornerstone Values
Atlas PAC is a member-based political action committee (PAC) that is committed to the Founding Father’s principles of individual liberty, free enterprise, limited and fair taxation and limited government regulation. These are the values that have made the United States the greatest nation since the existence of mankind.
While Rome took more than 600 years to become a force in the ancient world, the United States became the greatest nation and force for human freedom in less than 200 years. This achievement of greatness was due to the emphasis the American Founders put on individual liberty and the value of human industrialism, which is the ability for individuals to pursue their talents for profit in a free market.
Social issues, while important, are not part of the Atlas PAC Charter and are not a factor in its political decisions. Individuals are free to chose their lifestyles and will reap the benefits or pay the consequences individually of their choices. It is not society’s obligation to pay for the mistakes of others.
At inception of the Atlas PAC Charter, the founding members rejected any official ties to a political party, and thus the complete control and direction of the organization are under the auspices of the membership and executive board. The sole philosophy of the organization is that of its stated values.
